Believe in our demonstrated outcomes
Maize is the most important staple food for millions of Kenyans and its demand continues to grow with the increasing population. It plays a crucial role in the country’s food security and economy. Kenya’s diverse climatic conditions and fertile soils make it well-suited for maize cultivation, contributing significantly to both subsistence and commercial farming. Maize is a rich source of carbohydrates, protein, and essential vitamins and minerals. It is consumed in various forms, including maize meal, porridge, and roasted maize.
Unfortunately, with the increasing population and drastic climatic changes, what is produced is not able to meet the market demand. There is a projected 15 percent decrease in production thus the need for farmers to evolve and adopt better varieties and agronomic practices.
